Mission & Vision
PlusOne Charities exists to dismantle stigma and create pathways for children with learning and behavioral challenges to thrive. We envision a Ghana where every child — regardless of ability — is seen, supported and celebrated.
How we got here
The idea was born
After years of witnessing gaps in child welfare, our founder began consulting with families and experts to design a holistic intervention model.
Community pilots launched
We ran our first learning support workshops and parent coaching sessions in two communities in Accra, reaching over 80 families.
PlusOne Charities founded
Officially registered as a charity, we expanded to four core programs and began building a network of partners across Ghana.
